A leading analytical company based in the Utrecht area is seeking interim support within its Quality department. The company is looking for an experienced QA professional to ensure the continued maintenance and oversight of their Quality Management System (QMS).
Role Overview
The Interim QA Consultant will be responsible for maintaining the site’s QMS, focusing primarily on microbiological quality processes. This role is not supplier-focused but will involve managing QA complaints.
Key Responsibilities

Maintain, oversee, and further develop the Quality Management System (QMS).

Manage QA complaints and ensure effective resolution.

Safeguard compliance with microbiological and quality standards.

Identify and implement process improvements within the QA function.

Support internal audits and uphold site-wide quality culture.
Requirements
Qualifications / Skills & Experience

Strong background in QA.
-
Knowledge with microbiology is a bonus.

Proven experience in maintaining QMS systems.

Accessible and proactive, with the ability to work independently.
Essential
-
Solid experience managing or maintaining QMS processes.

Ability to handle QA complaints independently.
Desirable
-
Experience outside the pharmaceutical industry (broader industrial QA exposure preferred).

Prior interim or consultancy QA experience.
